Having been raised in a neighborhood that was experiencing greater instances of crime and gang activity, during her youth, Daphne was determined to become a world changer and a social agent. She practiced the art of resilience, pushing through challenging circumstances to graduate with a 5.155 from high school, working her way up to being an Assistant Director of a TRIO program while still in undergrad, serving as a Student Orientation Staff Member at the University of Florida, speaking at her college graduation, and going on to graduate from an Ivy League university, where she served as a residence hall staff member and Director of the Politics and Cultural Pluralism program at the W.E.B. Du Bois College House. As a result of her work with at-risk youth around the country, awarding $39,450 in scholarships to 42 high school youth through a nonprofit she founded, she was appointed as an inaugural College Board Fellow and also was a two-time finalist for the Washington, D.C. Capital Cause Changemaker of the Year award.

Daphne now uses the same tools she used to push through her challenges to help leaders be more engaged, equipped, and empowered to pursue new roles or opportunities despite their challenges.

Her career, executive, and business coaching clients have 10x'd their business revenues, increased salaries by 20%, 40%, or even 105%, drastically improved their productivity and mindset, and more! Daphne's clients have represented Fortune 50 and Fortune 500 companies including Salesforce, UnitedHealthcare, Lockheed Martin Corporation, UPS, and JPMorgan Chase & Co. and her clients have also represented organizations committed to social change including Higher Achievement, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, and KIPP Public Charter Schools.

Daphne is a member of the National Speakers Association who has spoken to audiences from smaller teams to audiences as large as 6,000 about goal setting, resilience, staff engagement, student engagement, and team building.
